Wow… almost five years. November 16, 2025, marks five years since I took the leap into entrepreneurship, fresh out of school, full of dreams, and—honestly—zero clue about how to actually run a business. Fast forward to today: I’m 28, running a team of six incredible humans, and still learning every single day.
One thing I’ve learned? Social media isn’t just posting cute photos or making a “fun” reel. Yet, somehow, everyone thinks it is.
I can’t even count how many clients have come to me saying: “I’ve worked with other companies, and honestly… they had no idea what they were doing.” And I get it. Lately, it seems like just about anyone with TikTok and CapCut thinks they can manage a company’s social media account. Maybe that works for some—but not at SociallyBrooke.
We do things differently. Here’s how:
Intentional Strategy > Random Posting
Every post we put out has a purpose. We don’t just follow trends for the sake of trends (though yes, we love a good viral moment!). Every piece of content ties back to your goals: nurturing your audience, building trust, and creating followers who actually care. Because let’s be real—followers mean nothing if they’re not engaging or converting.
Marketing Education Matters
I can’t stress this enough: having a solid marketing education is KEY. Understanding analytics, user behavior, and the why behind your content is what separates a strategy that works from one that flops. This is why organic engagement and organic strategies are my jam. We want real people, real conversations, and real results—not vanity metrics.
We Are BIG on Numbers (Even If I’m Not a Math Person)
Yes, I’ll admit it: I’m not a math person. But numbers? We LOVE numbers. Week to week, we give our clients the data—what worked, what didn’t, what’s resonating, what’s missing. Not every post is going to hit 100+ likes—and that’s okay. Sometimes it only takes one person to see an educational post and learn something, or one person to click a CTA. It starts with one, and it grows. Numbers tell the story, and we never skip the details.
Social Media Should Be Fun… and Patient
Let’s be honest, social media can get a bad rap. It feels overwhelming, repetitive, or like a chore. But it doesn’t have to be that way. At SociallyBrooke, we make it fun. We nurture your audience, give them what they want, and keep it engaging. Yes, going viral is fun (who doesn’t love a good trend?), but if it doesn’t convert? It’s just a fleeting moment. Organic social media is a marathon, not a sprint.
And in a world where we rush everything—trust me, I’m guilty of this too—let’s slowwww the heck down. Let’s remember why we started, why we’re doing this, and what our goals are. No goal is unrealistic if you plan, strategize, and stay intentional.
Patience Pays Off
This is the part most people don’t like to hear: you won’t see magic results in 30 days. I always tell clients to give it at least 2–3 months before measuring impact. Organic growth takes consistency, strategy, and intentionality—but the payoff? Totally worth it.
Running SociallyBrooke for almost five years has been a wild ride—learning how to build a team, learning how to serve clients better than anyone else out there, and learning how to make social media actually work for business
If you’re tired of agencies who “post stuff and hope for the best,” and want a team who actually understands the why, let’s chat. Because we’re here to make social media fun again—intentionally, strategically, and with results that actually matter.
